aptana studio is a great tool.

for developing all sorts of web related content. (i think it is optimized for ruby/rails)

one fine day i thought… i want to search & replace (delete) the spaces in the phone numbers. 0055 instead of 00 55, but aptana will not search for ” ” if you copy paste it to Strg+F.

What you need is turning regular expressions on. (right arrow in this picture)

and then search for

[s] – which will match a singular white ” ” space.

(?:rn|r|n) – which will match a line break

ps: mac users: backslash goes with this key combination: Shift+Alt+7
