can it run GNU Linux Debian 10 (64Bit)?
yes it can!
what used to be aWindows XP box is now running very latest FREE version Debian, thus allowing to run latest Firefox and latest Thunderbird 🙂 (to stay up to date on security)
even wifi works out of the box.
hostnamectl; # tested system
Static hostname: lenovo200c.local
Icon name: computer
Operating System: Debian GNU/Linux 10 (buster)
Kernel: Linux 4.19.0-16-amd64
Architecture: x86-64
looks
maybe advantage of an all-in-one pc are: more tidy desktop & less cables
installation
please note that actually no time consuming setup from scratch was done, but GNU Linux Debian 10 allows to simply dd-clone an existing (offline) installation over-ssh-over-network to target device (lenovo c200 running from Knoppix 7.2 boot cd)
the source was a GNU Linux Debian 10 VirtualBox VM booting Knoppix 7.2. iso
the target lenovo c200 was also booting Knoppix 7.2. from a burned cd (under knoppix 1) ssh has to be started like this: service ssh start on both boxes 2) a password for root has to be defined: passwd root)

specs & speed
the unit here had 3GBytes of RAM preinstalled 🙂

CPU: Dual Core (4x threads) Intel Atom D525 / 1.8 GHz (64Bit) (not true this unit had an Intel(R) Atom(TM) CPU D510 @ 1.66GHz)
-
Chipset Type Intel NM10 Express
- GPU: Intel GMA 3150 (this unit has: GForce NVIDIA Corporation GT218M [GeForce 305M])
- Touch-Screen
- WIFI onboard (works out of the box)
- integrated speakers
- integrated webcam (640x480px, so could be nicely used as basic jitsi video conferencing system)
the CPU is “okayish”… was able to fluently run the SpaceX Nerdle LabPadre Youtube LiveStream in 720p with all CPU cores on 100% and some ventilation going (not super noisy but noticable)
just for fun installed a
hdparm -I /dev/sda
Model Number: Samsung SSD 840 PRO Series
… to see how much of a boost it would bring to the (otherwise outdated) system.
it was okay… but it wasn’t fast (boot time feels like forever, no matter IDE or AHCI mode).
unit cost during release (2010) was $499.99 (with touchpad and ION) $399.99 (without) (src) so it was even a budget PC right from the start, but thanks to very resource efficient GNU Linux Debian 10,
it is still a usable solid and very stylish typewriter-PC in 2021, waste avoided.
