  • how does it work?
    • it generates a new table wp_ca_page_views
    • it is non privacy intrusive and does not use cookies
    • does NOT IPs but generates unique hashes
  • possible problems?
    • USE AT USER’S OWN RISK!
    • as this is basically a log file inside the wordpress database, creating a record for every click = the log could grow a lot pretty fast using a lot of disk space
    • so it would be wise to implement some cleanup mechanism that discards anything older like 1 year for example
