(female) users complain about websites not beeing beautiful well if it works? X-D

for me it is more important it works and is not annoying (ever tried to signup for santander bankaccount these days? horrible horrible tech problems on desktop AND mobile that make it practical IMPOSSIBLE to signup with the Firefox webbrowser (guess they never tested that))

the congratzs goes out to http://toastytech.com with the words of Steve Jobs “it just works” (since decades, hopefully many more years)

some users might say it is ugly as … but it works 😀 and that is the most important part (there are way more minimalistic websites out there: basically a text file renamed to index.html (in contrast to massively complex 10.000x files php based CMS way faster and secure!))

he could not even be bothered to setup https X-D (which might be a little bit of a security concern for man-in-the-middle-download-my-tampered.exe but … well … in contrast to santander’s super expensive web design)

dwaves is no different.

users of this massive database of open source howtos and articles that more than once saved someone’s NAS filesystem (thanks for all the coffees (not enough to pay for the hosting costs)) please two-finger-pinch-zoom if the font is not well readable on mobile, sorry for that.

yes wordpress is not really UNIX KISS. that has to change, sooner or later (better sooner)

but up to now they seem to handle the complexity of their software very well = updates usually indeed make things better (faster) and do not break existing functionality (mad respect! a lot of companies do not know how to do that)

dwaves will probably not be dynamic mobile layout for some more time X-D

sorry for that if it hurts the user’s eyes X-D

BUT IT WORKS 😀 (to hopefully many more decades, if users and devs and admins help each other… that is very possible)
