because if this system was actively supporting progress, mankind would have solved massive civilization threatening problems like climatechange a long time ago.

  • have creative entrepreneureal ideas?
    • build the prototype for yourself
    • maybe make a youtube video
    • but have no hope that anyone will sponsor a marketing campaign or a production (especially not those crowd funding platforms below)
  • creativity is the basis for innovation and innovation is said what capitalism is so good at? really?
  • unfortunately in this system, not what makes the most sense, but what generates the most profit (even if it’s evil) is called “progress”
  • well this “progress” will not end well… that is for sure.
  • want to save capitalism from itself? (mission impossible but try)
  • have a good video of the product?
  • know how to do good online marketing?
    • while a website with an “order” button might be nice to have the product online even after the 60 days campaign timeout, a website alone is not enough online marketing
    • it’s required to pump out at least a video per week on youtube, instagram, tiktok (where else?)
    • ship free sample products to friends or testers that then publish a youtube or instagram or tiktok video
  • give crowd funding a try (do not give it high hopes, but a try)

but be aware, there is a sinister joke going around that the university of Aachen has like 92938292 prototypes that catch dust in their basement…

nothing gives, nothing moves. say “hurray” to this beautiful system of capitalism.

if funding of innovation by the finance system (banks not doing their jobs, if a bank does not produce loans it produces nothing) continues like this, the future for innovation is dark (a billion prototypes rotting in someone’s basement… or in the case of this user, get’s used by one user only for a lifetime X-D) and thus the future of mankind is dark.

Imagine Linus Torvalds beeing the only user of GNU Linux.

This crazy amount of ignorance = inability to learn will with 1000% be the death of mankind.

PS: unfortunately someone already parked https://krautfunding.com, https://krautfunding.de and even https://krautfunding.net and thus blocks others to create a alternative crowd funding website, that is maybe more fun.

  • a platform where it is clear: users need to complete those 10 steps to create a project, those steps can be completed in 30min (spend almost 10h on the kickstarter campaign)
  • there might be a video interview with the inventor to make things more personal where the inventor shows his her invention live on camera, which results in a collective team brainstorming, so the inventor does not feel isolated and alone and completely ignored
  • a nice dashboard where users can see how many clicks their landing page got
    • and yes tool for customer orders and fullfillment would be nice, where users of that platform help each others how to do what best
  • no timeout: once the project is up, it will stay up forever, until the user decides to end it
    • really do not understand the “try to find customers in 60 days or die” approach of many platforms
    • what if someone wants to buy this innovative product in 3 years?
      • well guess the user is adviced to create a website with an order button
      • or maybe even a sumup webshop if the user plans to go to live marketing events like congresses or exibitions (which might actually be one of the best ways to convince users that a product is real and works)
      • ask event organizers if the user can show a product
      • second hand markets might also be a good place, but most users there look for VERY cheap second hand hardware
