• the USB cable coming with this cost effective unit is VERY SHORT and NOT WELL SHIELDED
  • had an older adapter of the same brand without any problems doing backups on FRONT USB
  • copy oeprations would stall and even keyboard and mouse became non-reactive
  • fast forward a few years: the same adapter of the same brand has frequent problems writing to the disk
  • connected to BACK USB port and things became better
