1. shutdown the guest VM (Windows 7 64Bit)
2. make sure in the settings you have usb activated in guest VM settings
3. make sure you have the virtualbox extension pack installed
4. unmount the USB device at host

5. enable USB device filter in USB settings of VM guest
6. start the VM
7. go into device manager and look for “unkown” devices.
8. download those drivers from intel: Intel USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller Driver
9. install those drivers in guest VM via device manager:
10. now your usb device should show up inside guest VM
