Was genau soll Google dann finden?

Und meine Seite? Nur auf der Startseite? Ungenügend!

Es gibt in WordPress wohl keine “default”-Formular/Möglichkeit um globale meta-Tags wie Keywords/Description/Author etc zu füllen.

Der leider unbekannte Programmierer/Planer welche das verbrochen hat, gibt meiner Meinung nach total bescheurte Gründe an, warum das so sein muss:

 “All of this is unique information. WordPress may do some magical things, but it can’t read your mind. If you want to supply search engines better information that is more specific to your web pages, you have to add the meta tag data yourself.”

Ja natürlich muss der Kunde seine Meta-Daten “von selbst” eingeben… Ich meine er/sie wird vermutlich das CMS auch nutzen um “von selbst” Texte und Bilder einzufügen und online zu stellen.

Dann könnte man ihm doch auch ein Global Meta Formular geben wo er/sie “von selbst” die uniquen infos eingeben kann?

“Hier hast Du ein CMS… aber Du musst aber programmieren können, sonst findet dich google nicht.” WHAT? 😀

Wordperss ist toll, weil es easy2use ist… klicky bunty… hier mal ein Plugin da mal jenes. Das ist schon Cool, aber:

1. das Plugin Repo ist unübersichtlich… es gibt keine “best practice” Anleitungen welche Plugins was taugen und wenn ja wofür. (ich hatte eines installiert “ADD META TAGS” … das added aber Meta-Tags nur PRO SEITE! Ich halte doch meine Meta-Tags nicht über x-Seiten von Hand synchron?

2. Es geht eigentlich nur um einen  klitze-kleinen Einstellungs-Punkt innerhalb des CMS, ein Formular, in dem ich globale Meta-Tags definieren könnte:

description/Beschreibung: beschreiben Sie ihre Website

keywords/Schlagwörter: Unter welchen Schlagwörtern wollen Sie von Google und Yahoo gefunden werden?

Author: Wer hat die Seite erstellt/Programmiert?

… andscheinend eine Marktlücke? ;-D
